| Carriers are connected to transport chains that rotate the entire complement of carriers around inside a steel clad casing in either direction working on the shortest routing principle. | |
| The carriers are presented at the access port in front of the operator at an ergonomical picking/placing height, usually 900mm to 1000mm depending on pitch of carriers.
Multiple access ports are possible on the same or opposing sides, ground and mezzanine levels. A ribbed rubber, stainless steel or wood worktable at the access port provides a working area to sort and count the products.
| The machines can be manufactured to fit into a given space or area allowing the user maximum benefit of available floor space, between columns, in recesses etc. etc.
| The carousel carriers can be made to a required size in their length, anything from 1000mm to 6000mm long ( weight dependant ) can be achieved, we commonly supply a carrier at 3500mm long to maximise storage capacity.
Variations in the length provides the potential to use less machines when a number of units are needed or having more storage capacity in a single machine. Carrier depth can also be made to order, standard depths are 300mm, 400mm, 500mm, 600mm, 700mm up to 1000mm deep Pitch between carriers ranges from 200mm to 1000mm. Single carriers for bulky parts, two tier for medium sizes and three tier carriers for small parts in bins are standard. Pull out drawers ensure positive and safe locking of drawers before and during carousel movement. Carriers may be either plain for use with bins or slotted for use with dividers to store loose products.

| Machine heights start at 2250mm / 2400mm upon the pitch required and up to 12, 000mm as standard.

| Carrier and machine loads: | |
Carrier loads from 100 kg to 1000 kg Machine loads from 1500 kg to 20000 kg Loads are per main carrier
| As standard, all machines are fitted with twin motor drives allowing a guaranteed 100% unbalanced loading capability.
A further benefit of this is that should one motor gearbox fail the other is still powerful enough in balanced load conditions to continue to operate the machine ensuring minimal down time. Twin motors also mean that the carousel is never overworked and will perform its tasks without the worry of failure and continue to provide good service for many years. |
