Duolift and Quattrolift move in three dimensions

The machines are based on the vertical storage principle but do not rotate, a central automated extractor selects the appropriate tray and delivers it at the access level to the operator, the tray is either left in the picking zone internally or can come fully out of the unit taken out completely for internal transportation.

The difference to all other lift systems compared to Duolift and QuattroLift is that this machine also works in a horizontal plane to deliver trays to either of the two access ports allowing a fast retrieval and product range choice to the operator.

This third axis provides to to four times as many stock locations to be available in one unit, but the lift still uses one extractor system.

The lifts are driven by servomotors to allow optimum vertical acceleration to the maximum speed, combined with position control, the elevating platform extractor is always maintained in the precise position required.

This makes the machines very fast and smooth, the speed of operation is: -

Vertical, fully loaded tray	approx. 42 metres per minute
Unloaded	approx. 60 metres per minute

Horizontally, sideways	approx. 12 metres per minute
Extractor	approx. 10metres per minute
