The third product in our range of goods-to-man picking and storage systems for small to medium size parts and cartons is the Horizontal Carousel.

Horizontal Carousels are used in stores and warehouses where there is limited headroom but sufficient floor space to install these machines. Installation can be under, or on, a mezzanine floor to give a very flexible storage system with access ports at any point around the carousel, goods-in to stores, stores to production, etc. as well as access port along its route for inspection for example.

Picking and replenishment speeds are increased as walking distances are much lower than conventional shelving, one operator can easily pick from a number of adjoining carousels moving only short distances between them.

For those really difficult storage problems we have two products so versatile that it's difficult to imagine where we could not store and handle many industrial products in every day use.

Size and weight are catered for by our larger carousel and lift that can store up to 900 tonnes. The basis of our solutions, in these cases, is the TowerMat - a beast of a lift - and the InterMat Multiloop Paternoster a truly flexible heavy-duty carousel.
